Creative mindfulness classes for Kids aged 7-12 years Facilitated by a qualified mindfulness practitioner & primary school teacher
Who am I?
I’m a Primary School teacher for the past 25 years. I’ve worked as a Mainstream class teacher,
Special Education teacher and more recently as a Creative Mindfulness Practitioner for
Children.
What is Creative Mindfulness?
Creative Mindfulness is a unique method which combines Creativity and Mindfulness to help
support children in nurturing their emotional wellbeing and mental health in a fun, nurturing and
relaxing environment.
What are the benefits of Mindfulness for children?

-Regulation of emotions
-Enhanced relationships with others
-Improved focus and concentration
-Improved cognitive functioning and learning
What does a class consist of?
Each class is an hour long and consists of:
-Exploration of feelings and emotions through discussion and storytime.
-Mindful breathing techniques
-Creative art activities, yoga and co-operative games
Classes are run in a 6 week block, on Thursday 2nd , 9th , 16th, 23rd Oct, 6th & 13th Nov.
